More Resources for your Pupils

Back in March, when schools across the country had to close and teachers began to cope with distance learning, we at TwT 360 made a pledge to create more resources that you can share with pupils. Here’s an update on what’s been updated over the past two months:

Double the Videos

We have doubled the number of videos on TwT 360 to provide a clear video guide for many of our activities. We are still working on creating more, and we are more than happy to hear from you if there is an activity or task you would like to have a video created for.

To help you find our videos, we’re creating a Video Directory page with links to the activities that have a video guide. Click the button below to view it.

Sharing Videos with Pupils

A number of schools asked us if videos could be shared with pupils. This was not originally possible as the purpose of the videos was to show you teachers how to present the tasks to pupils. But with distance learning, it is clearly much harder to introduce new digital skills, so we have made every video open for sharing.

To share with pupils, click the ‘Share Video’ button next to each video button on our activities (example below). This will provide you with an open YouTube link to copy and share with your pupils via Google Classroom / email / website etc.

Spreadsheet Templeates

We know that spreadsheets are a headache for many teachers, so we have added examples and templates of spreadsheets to our activities in the Framework Fixer. The templates are available for Google Sheets and for Excel, you can download / copy and share with your pupils. Look for buttons like the below on spreadsheet activities

Everything Free Until the Summer

As we announced in March, we have decided to make all TwT 360 resources free for the rest of the school year and nearly 15% of primary schools in Wales now have a TwT 360 account. This offer is still open to any primary school who want to make use of our resources, so please let people know!

As we said when schools closed, we want to do everything we can to help teachers. So if you have any ideas for things that would benefit you, or have any questions about using technology for distance learning, please contact us at post@twt360.com.
